SALIM IBN YUSUF AL-SIBA‘I AL-ITFAWI

Known only as the person donating fol. 286a of a manuscript (Sinai 136) containing the for the feasts of the year, by the hieromonk and completed on 22 May 1685, to the Monastery of Sinai.

The title ’is in a note in the indicates a prominent citizen; his surname shows that the family was from in Upper Egypt, the Apollonopolis of ancient times. He must have lived at the end of the seventeenth century.
