MUNIER, HENRI (1884-1945)

French Coptologist and bibliographer. He was born in Meursault, Côte-d’Or. He was the librarian of the Museum (1908-1925) and succeeded Cattaui as secretary of the Société royale de Géographie de l’Egypte (1924-1945). He published many articles in journals, most of them devoted to Coptic texts and the subject of early Christianity in Egypt. He died in Cairo.
