Le Monde Copte

Illustrated quarterly journal devoted to the study of Coptic culture, founded in in 1979 by a retired architect of Orthodox faith, de Bogdanoff. The journal enjoys the sponsorship of an including a number of names well known both in politics and in Coptology.

This publication is intended to link the Western world with Coptic culture in a form free from the forbidding aspect of academic reports, in order to be accessible to nonspecialists. As a popular magazine, it is open to studies in all of Coptic humanities, concentrating on subjects connected with the church as well as the modern Coptic community.
