INTERPRETATION OF KNOWLEDGE (NHC XI, 1)
A Valentinian Gnostic homily addressed to a Christian community apparently riven by factions. The author utilizes the writings of the Gospels and the Pauline epistles to rectify the situation. The title occurs at the end of the tractate. Extant only in Coptic, Interpretation of Knowledge was originally composed in Greek, probably sometime in the second century. Its provenience is unknown.
