ERMAN, ADOLF (1854-1937)
A German Egyptologist. He was a professor at Berlin University, a founder of the Berlin school, a teacher of W. E. CRUM, Georg STEINDORFF, and others, working in all fields of Egyptology and Coptology. He published Coptic literary and nonliterary texts.
