Authoritative Teaching (NHC VI, 3)

AUTHORITATIVE (NHC VI, 3)

A sophisticated Christian on the nature of the human soul reflecting second-century Middle- teachings on the soul. Its title, in Greek ( logos), occurs at the end. Extant only in Coptic, Authoritative was originally composed in Greek. It should be seen as a product of late second-century Alexandrian Christian Platonism.
