AKHMIM FRAGMENTS

(P. Cair. 10759, in Catalogue général des antiquités égyptiennes du Musée du , ed. B. P. and Hunt [Oxford, 1903]), a codex of thirty-three leaves (15 12 cm) with several apocryphal writings in Greek: parts of the of Peter (van no. 598), the Apocalypse of Peter (van Haelst no. 617), and two fragments of the book of Enoch (van Haelst no. 575).

In the binding was found a page with parts of the of Julianus (van no. 707). The fragments, discovered in 1886/1887 in Akhmim, date from between the eighth and the twelfth centuries, according to and to Lods. Earlier datings are in van Haelst (nos. 575, 598, 617).
