Abu Al-Mufaddal Ibn Amin Al-Mulk

ABU AL-MUFADDAL IBN AMIN AL-MULK

ِA known from the colophons of three of the prophets transcribed between 1582 and 1586 in the at Harit Zuwaylah in Cairo. These manuscripts state that Abu al-Mufaddal Amin al-Mulk ibn Amin al- Mulk Lutfallah was a priest in the in in 1355. He, therefore, came under the of Butrus II, of Jerusalem (1341-1362).

At that time his son Jirjis lived in Cairo transcribing magnificent manuscripts with great care. Abu al-Mufaddal’s father occupied an important place in the Mamluk administration.
